5 Tips for Choosing Your Spa Equipment
Our team at Spa Development International has put together this simple tool to provide you with the top areas for consideration when making that final selection for your spa’s furniture, fixtures, treatment equipment and opening supplies:
Consider Your Brand Identity –
Decide what is going to set you apart from the competition. Once established, you can select treatments & services that will continue to support that brand identity; equipment, products and fixtures should mirror that vision in style and function.
Consider Your Space –
Check dimensions and functionality, as well as assessing the operational needs of the work space. Ask your Equipment Specialist about special options that will address your specific requirements. For example: Hot towel cabis can be placed in a cabinet below the table to save on counter space.
Consider Your Timeline –
Ask your Equipment Specialist for the “lead time” for each piece of equipment. Construction can take from 6 to 8 weeks to produce. Custom orders can take up to 12 weeks; so plan accordingly.
Consider Your M.E.P. Specifications -
Ask your Equipment Specialist for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Specifications for your spa equipment. This is a critical component that supplies your Architect, Designer, General Contractor and Spa Consultant with all the specifics needed to guarantee successful installation and operation of the equipment.
Consider An Equipment Specialist –
Your Equipment Specialist is a spa professional that specifically has relationships with the industry’s top vendors and continually seeks out the ‘latest and the greatest’ in equipment innovations. They can create room templates and help you navigate through the endless details of equipment selection, procurement, delivery and even the installation process.
Consider Spa Development International –
